Payment journey review

A screen-by-screen walk of how money moves in your app — from first tap to settlement — with gaps written down in plain language.

We sit with the live or staging build and follow a real customer through top-up, transfer, bill pay, refund, and failure states. The work is not a generic security scan. We note where copy, timing, and ledger behaviour disagree, where a retry can double-post, and where a support agent cannot reconstruct what the customer saw.

You receive a findings pack ordered by harm: money at risk, customer confusion, and operational drag. Each item points to a screen, an API call, or a batch job — not a slogan. A closing walkthrough is included so product and operations can argue with us in the same room.

What we examine

  • Happy-path and failed payments, including timeouts and duplicate submits
  • Refund, reversal, and partial-capture behaviour
  • Customer receipts versus back-office ledgers
  • Support tools used to explain a disputed transaction

What you receive

  • Annotated journey map with severity tags
  • List of reproduce steps for each finding
  • 90-minute walkthrough with your product and ops leads
