Ledger and wallet integrity review

We sample balances, holds, and reconciling jobs to see whether the wallet the customer sees can be explained by the books you keep.

From RM 20,000, scoped after intake · Two to four weeks

Calculator, charts, and financial papers on a desk

A wallet that ‘usually’ ties out is not the same as a wallet you can explain on a Tuesday afternoon. We pick a sample window, follow holds and releases, and ask operations to reconstruct a handful of messy cases: partial failures, delayed webhooks, and manual adjustments.

The review stops at the application and the jobs that feed it. We do not recertify your core banking platform. We do write down where a customer-facing balance can drift, who notices, and how long it takes to put a name on the difference.

What we examine

  • Customer balance versus internal ledger for a sample period
  • Hold, release, and expiry behaviour
  • Manual adjustment paths and their audit trail
  • Reconciliation breaks and how they are closed

What you receive

  • Sample log with unexplained differences flagged
  • Description of adjustment controls
  • Walkthrough with finance and engineering

This review is written for wallet, stored-value, and in-app balance products with nightly or intra-day reconciliation.
